In this guide, I will demonstrate how to modify or add an image to the landing page, often referred to as the index page.
Firstly, log in to the online admin area. Once you’re on the dashboard, use the left-hand menu to select the ‘Config’ tab, followed by the ‘Change Theme’ tab.
This action will open the ‘Theme Settings’ window. Now select the 'Home Page Settings' tab
To add or change your background image, simply click ‘Select Image’. This action will open a folder on your device for you to navigate. Select the desired image and then click the ‘Open’ button.
Important Information
For optimal results, please limit the image width to 1920px and the height to 600px. Note that the aspect ratio of the image will be approximately 3:1, depending on the screen width.
Please make sure the image in no larger than 10MB, or it will fail to upload.
The quality of the image will be reflected when viewed on the website. Please use high-quality, focused images and avoid using blurred or low-quality ones.
You will see the image update in the window.
Don’t forget to click the ‘Save Settings’ button to apply any changes made.
If desired, you can also add a shade over the image. This feature is useful in instances where the font color of the text may be difficult to read due to a colour clash.
In the field shown, input ‘#00000000’ as demonstrated in the screenshot. This value will not add any shading as the last two digits are ‘00’. Alternatively, you can input ‘#00000093’ for medium shading.
Now, select the checkered box as indicated. This action will open a slider, allowing you to adjust the shading according to your preference.
Alternatively, you can simply modify the last two hex numbers.
Feel free to experiment with the settings until you’re satisfied. Rest assured, you won’t break anything.
Remember to save your changes using the ‘Save Settings’ button.
Now, let’s examine the background image on your ticketing website. First, we need to update the cache as modern web browsers cache webpage images to facilitate faster loading when you revisit.
You can instruct your browser to update the cache by holding down the ‘CTRL’ key and pressing the ‘F5’ key while on that webpage (Windows device).
To do a hard refresh on Google Chrome on Mac, there are two ways that you can do it: Hold down 'Shift' and click the 'Reload button'. Or Hold down 'Command', 'Shift' and click the 'R' key.
